‎ ‎ ‎ Services for CALDWELL — Charles H. Allender, 90, of Wilder, who died Thursday in a Caldwell hospital will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. today at the Wilder Methodist Church by the Rev. J. J. Fleming of the Wilder Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Roswell Cemetery under the direction of the Peckham - Dakan Chapel.
‎ ‎ ‎ He was born April 1, 1877, at Fairfield, Iowa. He was superintendent of the government Indian schools, which served the Western United States. Mr. Allender married Margaret Donnelly in Lovelock, Nev. Mrs. Donnelly died in July of 1945. He retired in 1944 and moved to Wilder in 1962 where he had since resided. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Memorials may be given to the Methodist Church at Wilder or flowers may be sent.
‎ ‎ ‎ Survivors include two sons, Leo J. Allender, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Charles Leroy Allender of Eugene, Ore.; a brother, Harry S. Allender of Caldwell; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
