..Chester was married to Ethel as stated but was divorced in 1942. Married Edna Louise Kinzle in 1943. They had one son, James Wilson Carrothers (Bill) who was born in 1943.
..Chester was Dean of Business at Arkansas State University from 1946 until 1967 when he retired. Edna was a high school teacher and a college professor most of her life as
well. The inscription on the tombstone says "Two Lifetimes of Teaching"
