Levi Alexander
Funeral rites for Levi Alexander, 67, of Leakey, were held Wednesday afternoon in the Plumber Funeral Chapels with Rev. Donald Gibbins and Rev. Worth Thompson officiating. Interment was in the Hunt Cemetery. He died Monday in the Sid Peterson Memorial Hosptial.
He was born in Hunt March 29, 1907 and had lived in Leakey since 1945. He was retired from the State Highway Department.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Cynthia Chriestenson and Mrs. Gayle Stucky, both of Florida; two sons, Robert Alexander of Leakey and Freddie Alexander of New Mexico; his mother Mrs. Minnie Alexander of Ingram; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Bichler and Ilyne Van Kirk, both of Kerrville; four brothers, John Alexander, James Alexander and Joseph A;exander. all of Ingram and Elmer of California, 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
