MONTICELLO - Services for May Godlove, 81, Rt.
4, Monticello, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday
in Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home.
She died at 2 a.m. Tuesday in her home after
a three-week illness.
She was born April 12, 1903, in Fulton County
to John N. and Rosetta McAllister Small. On
Jan. 30, 1921, she was married to Charles
"Bink" Robison Godlove, who died Dec. 29,1978.
She was a member of Oak Grove Christian
Church in Carroll County and was church
financial secretary for 22 years and a member
of the womens fellowship. She had lived in
Carroll and White counties most of her life
and in the Oak Grove community the past 56
years.
Surviving are a daughter, Marie Carter,
Monticello; two sons, Robert, Monticello, and
Perry, Rt. 4, Monticello; a brother, William
Small, Goodland; 12 grandchildren, and 17
great-grandchildren.
A son, four brothers and two sisters preceded
in death.
The Revs. Glen Campbell and Alvin Rockey will
officiate the services. Burial will be in
Idaville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Friday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Oak
Grove Christian church.
