Walt was born to Fred Edwin Caldwell & Bessie Geneva "Orendorff" Caldwell. He met & married Pearl Hillyard 31 Oct 1936.

They had three children:
Dean Caldwell
Dian (Caldwell)Hill
Tanya (Caldwell)Edson

Walt owned and operated the Buhl Sport Shop in Buhl, Idaho until his retirement. His hobbies were wood working, fishing, pheasant hunting, working jig saw puzzles with Pearl and visits from the grandkids.

Walt & Pearl moved to South Jordan, Utah to live with their daughter Tanya when their health got too bad to live along. They still enjoyed their outings around Utah with the kids.

Walt & Pearl's favorite fishing place was Magic Reservoir in Blaine Co Idaho, so after their death, their ashes were sprinkled there.
