HOOSER, LELA FAY – Services are scheduled for Friday, April 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. for Lela Fay Hooser, age 78 who passed away April 24, 2010. Services will be held at LaGrone Funeral Chapel with Jack Ferguson officiating with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Lela was born on January 5, 1932 in Dexter, NM to Alexander and Mae Hooser. Gowning up in Socorro, NM, Lela had two sisters, a half sister and brother. She became a house wife raising three wonderful children. She worked as a waitress and owned a small restaurant business. She retired after working many years as a certified nursing assistant. She loved her patients and the difference she made in their lives. She was very family oriented and was blessed with the gift of giving. She was of the Assembly of God faith and loved the Lord dearly. She enjoyed her grandchildren and old time gospel and country music.

Preceding her in death are her parents Alexander and Mae Hooser, grandsons, Benjiman Neil Reynolds, Wesley Roy Reynolds, Sister, Vera Mae Westin, Husband Selvester Bailey Branscum and daughter Caroline Sue Branscum.

She is survived by her son: Carl Branscum and his wife Dona; daughter: Glenda Branscum of Roswell and Ruby Ann Branscum of Montana. Eight grandchildren: Cynthia Thomas and her husband Gerald, Anthony Reynolds and his wife Bethany, Crystal Reynolds, Jessie Dawn Leason, Ellen Rebecca Armstrong all of Roswell, Kenny Hand of Boise Idaho, T.D. Hand of El Paso, TX and Aly King of Montana. She is also blessed with fifteen great grandchildren: Christian Brooke, Blake Whitney, McKiensey, Katherine, Ivoree, Helen, Jordon and Joseph all of Roswell, Bailey, Brandon and Mattie of Montana, Kenneth and Jordon of El Paso, TX; as well as all of her dear and sweet friends.

Give Thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever Psalms 118:1.
The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day that he Lord has made: let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118: 23-24
