O.W. Howard

O. W. Oallen Howard was born in Grand Saline to J. M. and Dorothy Allen Howard. His family moved to Waxahachie in 1946 where he attended public schools. He married Patricia Faye Wrinkle September 4, 1964 in Ennis and was the owner/operator of Howard Electric Service in Waxahachie for the past 15 years. He was a member of the South Prong Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one daughter, Sharon Eakin and her husband, Ray all of Waxahachie; his father, J. M. Howard; two brothers, J. D. Howard and his wife, Carol, and Monte Howard and his wife, Karen, all of Mississippi; three sisters, Laverne Wyatt and her husband, Jr., of Dallas, Pat Wilsford and her husband, Roy, of Waxahachie and Martie Hammontree and her husband, Chris, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one grandson, Kasey Howard of Waxahachie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at the Ferris Ave. Baptist Church with the Brother Scott Whitson officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Rogers, Roger Kujawa, Will Kujawa, Jerry Fox, Johnny Thompson, and Marvin Helms.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1311 Ferris Ave. 923-2700
