A resident of Cardiff By The Sea, Mrs. Long, a native of Oklahoma was the Mother of June Reed of Thermal, Betty Schoenberg of Placentia and Mary Lord of Indio, the wife of John D. Long of Cardiff By The Sea, the sister of Clyde Berry, Woody Berry, Pearl Collinsworth, Eva Johnson, and Iva Crow, all of Oklahoma and Lennie Downey of Sanger. Other survivors include six grandchildren.
Dr. James Jacobson of the First United Methodist Church, Indio, will officiate at the services. Interment will follow in Coachella Valley Cemetery.
Friends may call for visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at FitzHenry Funeral Home.
