[NOTE1: Paternal link to John Proctor (Memorial #29694511) requested by G.T. (Joe) Proctor. This is being provided purely for follow-up by interested parties.]

[NOTE2: 18 Apr 2011 - Additional parentage information provided by 'Kristie' without being logged into Find A Grave.
FYI.. Sarah Proctor was not the daughter of Revolutionary War Soldier, John Proctor of Elkhart County. His only daughter was Frances Proctor Hughes. This info is on his Rev War Pension App. Sarah Proctor was born in Kentucky (likely to the John Proctor that settled there) in 1771. John Proctor of Elkhart was unmarried and living in Fauquier County Virginia at that time. John Proctor of Elkhart married in Fauquier in 1786 and enlisted in the same county. He moved to Kanawha County (now) West Virginia in the 1790's. He "traveled" briefly to Mason Kentucky in the early 1800's but lived in Kanawha until the 1830's at which time he moved to Randolph Indiana. He then moved to Arkansas and Texas for short periods before coming back to Elkhart Indiana to live with his son John Proctor Jr. His travels and children are well documented in his pension. Thanks for the time..sorry it is so long. :-)
