Ardeth spent her formative years growing up in Ottawa, Ontario with her two younger brothers, Colum and Crispin.
She graduated from Lester B. Pearson Catholic High School in 1994 and proceeded to undergraduate studies at Carleton University in Philosophy and History before pursuing a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Waterloo.
Ardeth was recognized as an exceptional student, and, in Waterloo, was co-editor of Eidos: The Canadian Graduate Journal of Philosophy.
Devout Roman Catholic, Daughter, Sister, Friend and Philosopher Ardeth is remembered in daily thought and prayer by those who loved her.
