She was born December 21, 1945, to Robert Everett Ray and Myra Campbell Ray. Jackie was a homemaker, a certified dietician and a cook for Hudson Memorial Nursing Home. She was a member of First Assembly of God where she was active in the women's ministry and choir.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers, Robert N. Ray and Charles T. Ray.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Troy McKnight of Smackover; two sons, Mitchell Todd McKnight of Smackover & Tony McKnight and wife Shannon of Louann; four grandchildren, Wayne McKnight of Smackover, Cliff McKnight and wife Pamela of Louann, Kristen McKnight of Smackover & Justin McKnight of Louann; three great-grandchildren, Lanee McKnight of Louann, Bridgett McKnight of Smackover, Caleb McKnight of Smackover; and sisters-in-law, Gerry Ray of El Dorado and Pat Ray of Louann.
Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 25, 2010, at First Assembly of God with Pastor Al Womack and Bro. Greg Tucker officiating. Burial followed at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
