RUBY HORN HELVEY

Funeral services were May 15 for Ruby Horn Helvey, 85, of Pauls Valley. She was the sister of Estle Rogers of Davis. The Rev. Mark Senter officiated, and Mrs. Helvey was buried at the Elmore City Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean Funeral Home.

She was born Dec. 11, 1915, at Blanchard to George M. and Emily (Soward) Horn and died May 12, 2001, at Pauls Valley. She and Orbie C. Helvey were married on July 3, 1946. She had been a house parent at Oklahoma School for the Deaf.

Her survivors include her husband, three children, Dawson Helvey of Seminole, Irene Hackett of Edmond and Sandra Helvey of Pauls Valley, four grandchildren, a brother and two sisters.
