Glen Irving Dosdall, son of Henry and Grace (Lynch) Dosdall, was born July 4, 1917 in Stevens County, Minnesota. He grew up and attended school in the Cyrus, Minnesota area. After his schooling, he began working on the family farm near Cyrus. On August 20, 1943, he was united in marriage to Genevieve Nielsen in Lake Benton, MN. The couple made their home in Pope County, where they farmed until retiring in 1978. At that time, they moved to their current location in Hancock.

Mr. Dosdall died Saturday, April 6, 1996 at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, MN, following a lengthy battle with cancer. He lived to reach the age of 78 years.

He is survived by his wife, Genevieve of Hancock; three sons; Howard (Vicky) Dosdall of Morris, Roger (Beth) of Prior Lake and Raymond (Chris) of Columbia Heights; one daughter; Beverly (Richard) Boyer of Marshall; one brother; E.L. Ted (Phyllis) Dosdall of Hancock; 10 grandchildren and one foster sister, Linda Spurlin of Virginia, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and one son, Larry Peter Dosdall.
