Mrs Leontine "Tene" Caswell LeJeune
Funeral Services were held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice, Friday, Jan 17, 2003 at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Leontine "Tina" Caswell LeJeune, 81, with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Officiating minister was Fr. Matthew Roussel. Mrs. LeJeune, a resident of Eunice, passed away Thursday Jan 16, 2003 at 4:20 a.m. at Opelousas General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. LeJeune was a retired school teacher. She was a member of St. Thomas More Ladies Altar Society serving a term as president, Catholic Daughters of America, where she served as Prophettess & Hospitality Chairman, was named Daughter of the Year in 1955 and was St. Thomas More Queen for 1982 Bazaar.
She is survived by two sons: Kenneth LeJeune of Eunice, La., Michael Arnold of Duralde, La., one daughter: Norma Jean (LeJeune) Breaux of Lafayette, La., three brothers: Lee Paul Caswell of Youngsville, La., Shelton Caswell of Lafayette, La. & Larry Caswell of St. Landry, La., one sister: Gerri Andrepont of Eunice, La. 7 grandchildren & 22 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. LeJeune was preceded in death by her husband, Caffery LeJeune.
