Rosella M. Wagner, 62, of Kittanning, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 2, 1947, in Kittanning Township, a daughter of Thelma (Cravener) Brown and the late Lester Brown. Rosella attended Christian Missionary Alliance Church, where she did missionary work especially with the Sun Valley Indian School. She was also the treasurer of the Women's Missionary Society. Rosella enjoyed fishing, bowling and taking care of her grandchildren. Survivors include her mother, Thelma (Cravener) Brown, of Kittanning; husband of 45 years, James E. Wagner Sr.; son, James E. Wagner Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Kittanning; daughter, Sonya Smith and her husband, Don, of Erie; son, Michael Wagner and wife, Carol, of Tomah, Wis.; six grandchildren, Kerry Wagner, Jacob Wagner, Jessica Wagner, D.J. Smith, Dawnyiel Smith and Tristten Wagner; and two sisters, Shirley Campbell and husband, Bob, of Kittanning, and Cindy Swank and husband, Bill, of Kittanning. In addition to her father, Lester Brown, Rosella was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ralph Rosenberger; and stepmother, Mildred Brown. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. Monday at Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Kittanning with Pastor Mark Applebee as celebrant.
