Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton at 10:30 A.M., Monday, December, 24, for Clarence C. Miller, 61, of Alton, who died at the Memorial hospital in Primghar December 22, after undergoing surgery.

Burial was in the church cemetery at Alton.

M r. Miller was born at Alton, December 8, 1912, and resided most of his life in that community.

Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. Francis (Vivian) Paulsen of Eau Claire, Wis., and Francine, Julia and Anna, all of Los Angeles, Calif., two sons, Raymond and James both of Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. Alvina Steicken of Alton, and Mrs. Joe Stoos of Marion; a brother, Lawrence of Paulina, and four grandchildren.
