Pearl H. Clevenger, 74, a retired farmer and former resident of Eaton, died Sunday at a rest home in Hamilton. He had resided in Eaton for 10 years before going to Hamilton last February. Prior to moving to Eaton, Mr. Clevenger had farmed in the Greenbush area near West Elkton. He had been in failing health since an illness four years ago necessitated the amputation of a leg. Final rites were conducted at a Somerville Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon with burial following in the cemetery at Gratis. He is survived by his wife, Eva, also a resident of the Hamilton Rest Home.
