Nannie Jean Miller Kendrick, 82 Irvine, Died Friday, April 2, 2010 at Hospice Care Center in Lexington after a long illness. She was born June 11, 1927 in Breathitt County, the daughter of the late Shelby and Belle Deaton Miller. She lived in Estill County most of her life.

Survivors include her husband, Archie Kendrick; six daughters Barbara Geier of Ohio, Shelby Horn and Sandra Folden, both of Nicholasville, Pat Graham of Georgia, Donna Sparks of Irvine, and Terri Combs of Madison County; two sons, Larry Kendrick of Nicholasville and Lee Kendrick of Lincoln County; 24 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Gross Taulbee; four brothers, Collie Miller, Wilson, Ed and Frank Gross.
