ADRIAN W. REPP

Adrian Wilson Repp, 62, of 309 S. Clinton St., died Aug. 11 at Des Moines General Hospital in Des Moines.

He was born near Melrose on Aug. 22, 1918, the son of Raymond and Golda Bowman Repp. He was a machinist at Hartsuck and John Deere Ottumwa Works. He had also been employed at the Iowa Liquor Store in Albia. A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of the VFW and American Legion Post in Albia.

On Nov. 2, 1938, he married Farrell Long. She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Gary Repp of Norfolk, Neb., Ronald Repp of Moravia and Gordon Repp of Albia; one daughter, Sue Repp of Albia; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Armond Repp of Albia; two half-brothers, Daryl Hassman of Knoxville and Richard Hassman of Burlington; and his mother, Golda Hassman of Albia.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Allen, and one sister, Anna.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Geyer Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donald Briley officiating. Burial will be in the Russell Cemetery with military rites.
