Waynesville, Mary Inman, age 79, died on Friday January 29, 2010 at Smoky Mountain Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late George and Mae Stepp Inman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Moore; an infant daughter; two sisters, Margaret Reece and Rosemarie Moody and a brother, Floyd Ledford. Mary loved spending time with her family and was faithfully devoted to them and was a former member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Ricky Moore and his wife, Kimbra, of Waynesville and Harold Moore and his wife, Sandra, of Bethel; a daughter, Judy Lanning and her husband, Ronald, of Jonathan Creek; one brother, Edward Inman, of Waynesville; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend David Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Harold Moore.
