Two generations grew up on the farm.
Then on Oct 21, 1908 in Brown County, Albert married Jennie L Thomas
Albert & Jennie, along with son, Delbert, lived with Albert's parents until the 1930's.
Delbert remembered when he was but 16, helping his father carry his grandmother's body to the family cemetery when she died in 1930.
In later years, Albert and Jennie moved to Mt. Sterling
After Jennie died, Albert never remarried but remained in Mt. Sterling until 1969 when he moved to Hickory Hills, Illinois to live with his son Delbert
Albert died just short of his 100th birthday
Both of his sisters also lived long lives:
Lena (91)& Amelia (85)
