Burial in Forest Hill East cemetery.
He was a Baptist and a member of Bartlett Masonic Lodge, Al Chymia Shrine and Bartlett Junior Pro Sports Association.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Jackie L. McPhail; a daughter, Ronda Lynn McPhail of Jackson, MS; a son, James Ronald McPhail of Bartlett; his parents, Mr. and Mrs A.B. McPhail of Pope, MS; two sisters, Mrs. Bettye M. Santucci of Memphis and Mrs. Ruth Daniels of Bruceton, TN and two brothers, Billy D. McPhail and Prentiss H. McPhail, both of Memphis.
