Alfred C. Foley, 61, of Richmond, passed away April 19, 2010 in Dayton, Ohio. Born June 29, 1948, in Rushville, he was the son of Alfred E. and Mary Jane Wolfhorst Foley, both deceased.
Mr. Foley lived in Richmond most of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam. He was a computer programmer for Kemper and Masterbrand. He was a member of Centerville First Baptist Church and American Legion Post 65.
Survivors include son, Wayne A. (Melissa) Foley of Richmond; daughter, Kimberly R. (Clark) Reeves of Richmond; grandchildren, Hannah Leeann Foley, Amanda Chae, Dion Ross and Chase Lee Reeves; sisters, Toni Ann (Mike) Campbell of Winchester and Beverly (Harold) Brumfield of Rushville. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth E. Foley, who died in 2005.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Doan and Mills Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
