Wednesday, May 14, 1997. He was born on Dec. 2, 1889, Cleveland County, Ark. Mr. Black was a retired clerk for Jay's Department Store in Benton for 30 years, past president of the Benton Lions Club, and a Baptist. Survivers: brothers Homer Black, Benton, Ed Black, California. Services will be at 2 p.m. today. Graveside
at New Rosemant Cemetary. Minister will be Bro. Rick Lumpkins. Family will be staying at 716 North Main.

in Benton, AR. in Jan 1957, He then married Ruby McBee, who died in 1993 in Vicksburg, Miss.
