Owen Thyng passed away at his home here Wednesday morning, April 16, Mr. Thyng was 65 years of age.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Owen Thyng from his late home Wednesday morning. Two selections, "Beautiful Lies of Somewhere" and Shall we Meet Beyond The River, " were rendered by Mrs. Evelyn Smith of Waterboro. Besides his widow he is survived by two brothers, Arthur A., of California and Eleazer of Newfield; one sister, Mrs. Annie Welch of Waterboro; an adopted daughter, Mrs. Martha Smith; an adopted son, John Thyng, also many other relatives. Interment was in the family lot on the home place.
