Mrs. Mamie Ellen Crosby, 65, died Friday morning at 3:45 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Jewel Blythe, in the White Mound community. Mrs. Crosby had been in ill health for four years, but died suddenly. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the residence of Mrs. Blythe. Interment will be in Holloway Cemetery, directed by Talley. Mrs. Crosby was born Feb, 28, 1877, in Ripley, Miss. She had made her home in the White Mound community for 30 years and was a member of the White Mound Methodist Church. Survivors are her husband; two sons, Henry Crosby of Howe and Hubert Crosby of Gunter; one daughter, Mrs. Blythe; one brother, J.H. Blythe of Howe; two sisters, Mrs. E.L. Enoch of Southmayd and Mrs. Charlie Pound of Adair, Okla.; and 10 grandchildren.
