Michele Lee Phillips, 40 of Rogersville, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Michele was born on May 22, 1969, in Springfield, Mo., to Richard and Elizabeth "Turner" Lightwine. She attended Kickapoo High School and attended College in Michigan with a Business Degree. She had attended North Point Assembly of God Church and was married to John J. Phillips on September 2, 2006. Michele was a Property Manager and enjoyed talking on her Facebook with friends, and she had a lot of loving friends.

Surviving is her husband, John, of the home; a son, Matthew Aaron Newhart; and step-son, Johnathan Phillips, also of the home. Her father, Richard Lightwine, of Springfield; and mother, Elizabeth Lightwine ,of Billings; a sister, Melissa Mayabb and husband Orba, of Billings; grandmothers, Georgie Lightwine and Deloris Turner, both of Springfield; niece and nephew, Jordan and Josh Mayabb; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2010, in the Bellview Cemetery, North of Springfield, Mo. Burial will be in the Bellview Cemetery, Springfield, Mo. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 22, in the Preston-Marsh Funeral Home Chapel, Rogersville, Mo.
