Son of George Eugene Fisher and Hattie Mae Pearson.
Attended elementary school in New Kent County and John Marshall High School in Richmond and was a veteran of World War I. Retired farmer. Chairman of the New Kent Democratic Committee, former president of the New Kent-Charles City Farm Bureau, Charter member of the New Kent Ruritan Club,director of the Richmond Production Credit Association of the Federal Land Bank,chairman of New Kent Selective Service Board during World War II and at the time of his death was secretary of the New Kent Electoral Board and a member of the American Legion.
He was a lifelong member of Providence Methodist Church and was a member of the board of stewards; served 30 years as Sunday School Superintendent and was lay leader of the Nerw Kent Methodist charge of the Virginia Methodist Conference.
