Ethel L. Starkweather, 93, of Toledo, OH, formerly of Waterville, OH, died Monday, May 21, 2007, at Swan Creek Retirement Village Toledo, OH. She was born October 1, 1913, near Neapolis, OH to Harry M. and Bertha R. (Baldwin) Aumend. Ethel worked for 25 years as a Bank Teller for First National Bank of Toledo (Fifth Third). She was a member of Waterville Presbyterian Church, and active in the choir. Over the years she was active as a Den Mother in the Cub Scouts, Band Boosters at Anthony Wayne High School, square dancing clubs, and was the First President of the Anthony Wayne Business and Professional Club. She married Richard Starkweather November 12, 1932, in Angola, IN, he died December 4, 2002. Survivors include son, Robert of Lexington, KY; daughter, Nancy Cieliczka of Hooksett, NH; grandchildren, Stacia, John, Steven, Kira and Kyle and 4 great- grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Swan Creek Retirement Village, 5916 Cresthaven Ln., Toledo, OH with Chaplain Bill Barnard officiating.
