Departed this life, in Effingham County, Ga., October 6, 1894, Mrs. Laura E. Fetzer consort of G. W. Fetzer, and daughter of J. W. Heidt, aged 42 years, 7 months and 1 day. Mrs. Fetzer was baptized in infancy, and in early life received in full connection with the Evangelical Lutheran Church by the beautiful and impressive rite of confirmation. And she remained a faithful member up to the day of her death. She was faithful in the discharge of her duties as a companion, as a mother, as a neighbor and as a Christian. She was loved by all who knew her. But she has passed away from her home, her church and her loved ones on earth to dwell with her Savior in heaven, where there is no more sorrow, no more pain, no more death. Mrs. Fetzer leaves a sorrowing husband, nine children, one brother, one sister, and a father and mother to mourn her death. Dear, bereaved ones, look to Jesus, who says, "My grace is sufficient for you." "Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord."
