Elaine L. Belcher

LIVINGSTON - Elaine L. (Adolph) Belcher, 57, of Livingston, a loving mother, grandmother and kind friend, has gone on before us to be with our Lord Jesus, on Thursday morning, April 21, 2005, at Evergreen Livingston Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23 at Franzen-Davis Funeral Home, 118 N. 3rd St. in Livingston. Graveside committal and burial will be 3 p.m. Saturday in the Roundup City Cemetery in Roundup.

Elaine was born March 5, 1948, in Roundup, the daughter of Bernie and Eva (Nelson) Adolph. She grew up there with her sisters, Janice and Jean, and her brother, Barry. In 1966 she graduated from Roundup High School and later attended Billings Business College. In 1989 Elaine moved to Livingston and worked at various occupations, including as a waitress and nurse's aid. Her work was a direct reflection of the kind of person she was because it was centered around serving others. Jesus tells us "to consider others to be better than ourselves" and "to put others' needs before our own." Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Elaine, even for a brief time, can attest to the fact that she was the kind of person who always looked out for the needs of her patients and friends before considering her own. She will be missed by so many.

Survivors include the love of her life, Carl Tescher of Anaconda; her son, Scott Belcher of Phoenix, Ariz.; her daughter, Shelly Kregler and her husband, Mark of Kingman, Ariz.; her brother, Barry Adolph of Powell, Wyo.; her sisters, Janice VanDyke of Manhattan and Jean Weber of Billings; her four adoring grandchildren, Derek, Nathaniel, Serena and Samantha; and numerous nieces and nephews.
