Son of Milton Rector and Charlotte Ann Senate. Lived his early life in Missouri and attended Murray School at Rosston, OK. He served in France during World War I for the Army in Butchery Co 312. He married Blanch Nichols May 18, 1920 at Buffalo,OK. They lived in OK until 1936 when they moved to Wilder, ID. They moved to Boise,ID in 1950 and he worked for Gate City Steel as a machinist until he retired in 1961. He was a member of the Followers of Christ Church. He was survived by his wife Blanch, a son Buck Rector of Boise, and 3 daughters, Mrs Berneta Paulsen of Wilder, ID, Mrs Iris Gardner of Modesto, CA and Mrs April Jo Lavala of Boise. Seven grandsons and four granddaughters. Four brothers, John and Ralph Rector, both living in Oklahoma and G.G.and Ross Rector both living in California.
