Mr. Jenkins was formerly a resident of Ohiowa. He came from Dickens, Neb., two weeks ago last Thursday in regard to his land southwest of Ohiowa. He was seized with a heart attack, from which he had shown signs of improvement. His daughter, Mrs. Henry Burt, and Mr. Burt were at the Oakes home Sunday for dinner. After the dinner hour Mr. Jenkins had a smoke, then laid down for a rest. The folks who were in the kitchen thought a little rest would do him good, but he wanted them with him so he could hear them talk. He seemingly enjoyed their conversation and talked with them.
