Juanita Ruth Nolte Strittmatter, 75, died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at a hospital in Fort Worth.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Vigil and rosary: 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Juanita Ruth Nolte Strittmatter was born Dec. 7, 1923, to John and Ruth Nolte. She and Walter Strittmatter were married April 30, 1941, and had recently passed their 58th anniversary. Juanita had been a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church since 1953. She served on the church council and altar society.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Strittmatter.

Survivors: Husband, Walter E. Strittmatter; daughters, Cheryl Ablon and her husband, Jack, of Lewisville and Virginia Cope of Fort Worth; sons, Edward Strittmatter and his wife, Sherri, of Fort Worth, Kirk Strittmatter and his wife, Kathy, of Grapevine, Earl Strittmatter of Mansfield, Glenn Strittmatter and his wife, Terry, of Fort Worth, Chris Strittmatter and his wife, Judy, of Colleyville, Kevin Strittmatter of Fort Worth and Mark Strittmatter and his wife, Julie, of Fort Worth;grandchildren, Stacy, Scott, Nikki, Benjamin, Jacynda, Walter, Skylar, Cameron, Caitlin, Ryan, Whitney and Joshua; and five great-grandchildren.
