Klum Funeral To Be Sunday P.M. Burial Monday
Funeral services for J.N. Klum, aged resident of this city, whose death occurred suddenly here this week following a stroke, will be held Sunday at 3:00 o'clock at the Miller Funeral Home. Dr. H.E. Trimble , pastor of the Central Church of Christ, will officiate, and the remains will be taken to Shenandoah, former long time home of the deceased, Monday where burial will be made at Rose Hill.
Jacob had been the sexton of the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah, IA. Jacob's great grandson Robert Klum told Don McCoy, Jacob's great-great grandson, that when Jacob died, the undertaker from Shenandoah transported the body from Centerville at no charge as payback for Jacob's service.
