Funeral services were held Friday, January 13, from Mt. Zion Church for Norma R. Atwood, 43, of Jackson, who died of a heart attack.
Mrs. Atwood was a native of Lawrence County, but had been a resident of Jackson for the past 25 years.
Her husband, Hilary C. Atwood, preceded her in death in 1965.
She is survived by 5 sons, James Terry, Jack Wayne, William Carroll, Hilry Oatis and Bobby Ray all of Jackson. She had one sister, Mrs. Roy (Bonnie) Davis and two brothers, J. T. Nations, and L. P. (Pete) Nations, both of Monticello; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
She will be remembered in Prentiss as the mother-in-law of Glenda McInnis.
