Graveside services for H.C. Wilson were held at the same time as his little granddaughter officiated by C.A. Collins, minister of the Church of Christ in Graham. H.C. Wilson had lived in Young County for a number of years.
He died at Eliasville, Texas of influenza.
Survived by his wife; five children - Mrs. Opal Bates, Miss Rudell Wilson, Miss Pauline Wilson, MIss Effie Pearl Wilson; one son - Henry Cobb Wilson, Jr.
Out-of-town relatives were his nephew and nieces including his nephews: Finis Wilson and Ocie Wilson, Mr and Mrs. Willie Corbett and Ernest Trammel.
