Mrs. J.B. Wear died at her home in Graham and her remains were buried at the Eliasville cemetery. Mrs. Wear was a woman of excellent qualities and many accomplishments and was well beloved by those who knew her. She taught a private subscription school in Graham for the past several jmonths and was for many years an educator of ability. She leaves a husband and one little boy - Frank Wear, to mourn her loss.
After his wife's death in 1903, Joseph B. Wear remarried Mary Snodgrass in 1907 at Mangum, Oklahoma. By 1920, the couple was living in Olney, Texas.
