OBITUARY
Pocatello - Wilford "Grant" Rupp, 69, lifelong resident of Pocatello, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. He was born April 3, 1941 in Pocatello, Idaho, a son of Marvin A. and Vera Edna Hunt Rupp.

He attended schools in Pocatello. On July 25, 1961, he married Betty Kay Roberts in Blackfoot, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan L.D.S. Temple on September 21, 1974. They later divorced.

During his working years, Grant worked as a sheet rocker in the construction trade. He was a beloved father who loved taking his children fishing and going out for ice cream cones. He had a passion for playing his guitar and singing. He was always coming up with ideas of great inventions. He had a very creative mind. He loved his family and friends dearly and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by 8 children, Danny (Dennalee) Rupp, Boise, Idaho; April (Steve) Smith, Shelley, Idaho; Darren (Lavina) Rupp, Pocatello, Idaho; Teresea (Chad) Bannister, Pocatello, Idaho; Natalie (Ben) Barrows, Boise, Idaho; Jennifer (Lamar) Beck, Idaho Falls;Trisha (Jake) Hirschi, Pocatello, Idaho; Shantay (Clayton) DaBell, Richland, WA.; 27 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 3 brothers, Dale (Kathy) Rupp, Norm (Sondra) Rupp, Blaine Rupp, a sister, Carol (Lin) Whitworth. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Travis Lee Rupp, a daughter, Elizabeth Kay Rupp, brothers, Clarence Smith, Danny Rupp, Darrel Rupp.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave.with Bishop Matt Olsen, officiating. The family will receive friends this evening, Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel and Monday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow the services at the Inkom Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction and care of Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel.
