Born in Model, Tenn. on Aug. 30, 1915, Mr. Cherry was the son of the late William and Lena Hardin Cherry. He was married Nov. 13, 1943, to the former Myrtlene Nunn, who survives.

Clarence Luther "C.L" Cherry, age 84, was a former supervisor for the Tennessee Department of Transportation in Henry County, he was a member of the Buchanan Baptist Church and Buchanan Masonic Lodge.

Services were held on Tuesday, April 4th at the Ridgeway Funeral Home in Paris with Bro. Darvin Storm officiating. Pallbearers chosen were Hughlette King, Michael White, Don Nichols, Jimmy Alton, Robert Chilcutt and Brooks Simmons.

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Faye Scott and husband Darrell of Paris; one son, Terry Cherry and wife Jane of Columbia, Tenn; and one sister, Evelyn Loving of Clarksville, Tenn.

Two grandchildren, Sarah Scott of Paris and Rhonda Kelly of Murfreesboro, Tenn; and a great-grandchild, Nina Kelly, also of Mufreesboro.

Mr. Cherry was also preceded in death by five sisters; and three brothers.
