Mrs. Pauline Reed, 80, of Huntsville died April 27, 1995, at Meadowview Lodge in Huntsville. She was born Sept. 28, 1914, at Loy, Ark., the daughter of James Madison and Mary Wharton Hillard. She was a member of the Huntsville Church of Christ and the Huntsville Cemetery Committee, and was a retired insurance secretary. She was preceded in death by her husbands, P.V. Blankenship, on Oct. 23, 1958, and William Edward "Ed" Reed on Jan. 28, 1975.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Gail Hudson of Huntsville; four nephews; and two nieces.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 29, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Larry Combs, minister, officiating. Interment was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Nathan Gaskill, Troy Dennis, Joe Boatright, Charles Presley, Ernest Spurlock, and Herman Skaggs.
