WOODWARD - Graveside service for former Frederick resident Richard Keith "Rick" Doyle, 63, Woodward, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Frederick Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Eric Snyder, pastor, First United Methodist Church in Frederick, officiating.
Burial is under direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.
Mr. Doyle was born July 6, 1946, in Frederick to Calvin Leroy and Vivian Pearl Ulrich Doyle. He grew up and attended school in Frederick. He graduated from Frederick High School in 1964. He worked as a butcher for many years but more recently owned and operated Doyle's Maintenance in Woodward. He enjoyed fishing and his best friend, his dog Sally. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Debbie Doyle, McGregor, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanna and Sterling Woods, Frederick; a brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Barbara Doyle, Leander, Texas; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Wiletta and Kenneth Schrick and Marilyn Claunch, all of Frederick; and Karen and Bud Whitehead, Abilene; four grandchildren: Cole Doyle and wife Sugie, Austin; Meagan Doyle, McGregor, Texas; Lydia Keyonna Woods, and Dante Woods, all of Frederick; and three great-grandchildren: Jett Doyle, Emily Doyle and Elijah Doyle, all of McGregor, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father on March 1, 1973, and by his mother on Oct. 16, 2007.
