OZARK - Services for Ernest I. "Sig" Kester, 86, Ozark, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Clinkingbeard Chapel in Ava with the Revs. Darrell Hinds and Tom Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Ava Cemetery. Mr. Kester died at 8:50 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Regional Health Center after a long illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Ozark Grace Baptist Church. Mr. Kester lived in Ozark after moving from Ava 18 years ago. He was a World War I veteran. Survivors include his wife, Carrie; a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Ellison, Springfield; a son, Ernest Kester, Jr., Nixa; a sister, Mrs. Grace Roller, Ava; a brother, Lester, Dundee, Ky.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation at the funeral home will be today from 7 to 8 p.m.
