Wilborn was the son of Clifton Colice Caddell and Nora Sadler. He lived with his grandmother, Fredonia Elizabeth Wright Caddell after the death of his mother. Wilborn worked at the movie theater in Sulphur Springs, Hopkins, Texas. He had a heart disease.
