Esther R. Worcester (nee Dair), 91, of North Ridgeville died Saturday at Good Samaritan Nursing Home after a short illness.

Born in Columbia Station, she lived most of her life in North Ridgeville.

Mrs. Worcester owned and operated Worcester Hatchery Feed and Poultry, Lorain and Root Roads, North Ridgeville, which she and her husband, John, founded in 1926.

She was a charter member of North Ridgeville Senior Citizens and Fields Homemakers. She was a member of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville and Jolly 60's.

She enjoyed travel, gardening, arts, crafts and cooking.

Survivors include a son, Delbert T. of North Ridgeville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lolita Vimpenny of Elyria.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A., in 1978; a daughter, Eleanor R. Hogue-Sallis in 1966; and sisters, Ima Walker, Dorothy Walker and Ethel Stinchcomb.

Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Bogner Funeral Services, Busch Family Chapel, 36403 Center Ridge, North Ridgeville.

Services will be at te funeral home with Rev. Louis A Diehl officiating.

Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.

Memorials may be made to Fields United Methodist Church.
