Jerry Tillman, age 82 of Monroe, passed away October 21, 2009. Funeral services will held at 2 PM Saturday, October 24, 2009 in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Dr. Gene Acuff, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Christian Church Cemetery.
He was a member of Mt. Vernon Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife: Jeannette L. Tillman of Monroe; son: Jerome B. (Ronnie) Tillman Jr. of Monroe; daughter & son-in-law Carolyn & Chuck Steele of Monroe; brother: Thomas B. (Dick) Tillman of Sumter, S.C.; grandchildren: Hannah Steele and Lawson Steele; step grandchildren Stephanie, Katie and Gus Steele.
