CLINTON, Ind. – Rowena "Trudy" Lowe, 88, of Clinton, Ind., passed away at 11:17 a.m. EDT Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the Vermillion Convalescent Center, Clinton. She was a homemaker.
Services are 11 a.m. EDT Thursday (April 15) at the Frist Funeral Home, with Bill Weber officiating. Burial is in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lowe was born June 21, 1921, in Louisville, Ky., the daughter of the late Bruce Bennett and the late Blanche Kelly Bennett. She married Bill F. Lowe, who survives.
She is also survived by two sons, Bruce (Debbie) Lowe of Chrisman and Bill H. (Barbara) Lowe of Sidell; six grandchildren, Melissa Kay, Little Billy, Amanda (Dustin) Blair, Lisa (Dale) Colter, Lela Lowe and Emma (Preston) Butler; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Winona Elledge of Paris.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Bennett.
Mrs. Lowe was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ.
