Virginia (Dietrich) Mae Miers Wolter, 84 of Shelbyville, formerly of Greensburg, passed away on May 7, 2006 at 7:45 p.m. at the Ashford Place Health Care Facility in Shelbyville, Ind.
She was born on March 17, 1922 in Burney, Ind. to Otto F. and Lillie V. (Aton) Dietrich. She was a Burney High School Graduate and a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church, OES - the Lois Chapter, she also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and tennis.
She is survived by, one Daughter, Carol (Larry) Pumphrey of Greensburg, Ind.; two Sons, Roger (Diane) Miers of Cape Coral, FL. and R. Greg (Joy) Miers of Margate, FL.; one Sister, Grace Dunn of Greenfield, Ind.; 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto F. and Lillie V. (Aton) Dietrich; Husbands, Robert S. Miers and J. Paul Wolter; two Brothers, Paul and Frank Dietrich and one Sister, June Gilliland.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2006 from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. A service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2006 at 10 a.m. also at the Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Campbell will be officiating.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Greensburg First Methodist Church.
