Thomas served as a Private in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Kent County, Delaware prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on July 21, 1942 in Camden, New Jersey. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as Single, without dependents.

Thomas died in the "Line Of Duty" of coronary thrombosis in Indiana during the war. His remains were set to Dover, Delaware.
