THOMAS B. (BOONIE) ALVEY, 73, of 3003 Hikes Lane, died Tuesday at 12:05 a.m. at St. Anthony Hospital. He had been ill several years. He was a native of Howardstown, Ky. He worked as a salesman for the Fennecy Howard Liquor Store in New Haven, Ky., for 10 years, retiring 15 years ago. Survivors include the widow, the former Stella Bowling; six sons, James Alvey of Ringwood, Okla.; and Edward, J. Russell, Joseph, Charlie and Frankie; three daughters, Miss Catherine Alvey, Miss Lillian A. Alvey and Mrs. Martha H. Wheeler; and 11 grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 3054 Hikes Lane, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. The body is at Ratterman's, 3800 Bardstown Road.

He resided in Louisville and had been ill for the past several years. He was 73 years of age. He was a native of Howardstown. Funeral services and burial were held Thursday in Louisville. Buried, 2-10-1966, in St. Michael Cemetery, Louisville, Ky.
